Brett Lechtenberg is the visionary founder, President and Technical Director of Personal Mastery Martial Arts and Family Success Centers. He is one of the highest ranking students of Grand Master Richard Na and Master Lechtenberg was named the International Tae Kwon Do Association's Instructor of the year in 2003. He was promoted to the rank of 6th degree by Grand Master Na in 2005. Master Lechtenberg holds various teaching credentials and certifications.

Master Lechtenberg has dedicated his life to researching, perfecting and teaching the Personal Mastery Martial Arts method. His goal is to preserve and expand this unique system and enhance people's lives with its powerful life skills and lessons. His passion for inspiring others to unleash their potential has led him to have instructed thousands of men, women and children of all ages. After experiencing various martial arts, Master Lechtenberg found Grand Master Na during his college days at Western Washington University. The school was internationally recognized as being one of the most challenging and demanding schools of its kind. As a young man faced with training in an environment where classes and full contact martial arts were feared by many, he forged the perseverance, desire and will to become a leader and Master of the martial arts.

Master Lechtenberg has competed at national and international levels and has served as the state president for both the United States Tae Kwon Do Union and the United States Tae Kwon Do Won. He is one of only three people to have achieved the rank of 6th degree black belt under the expert guidance of Grand Master Richard Na.

In 1996 Master Lechtenberg moved to Utah to open the first location of Personal Mastery Martial Arts and Family Success Center. It was then that he began to synthesize his previous "traditional" martial arts training with the years of personal development training. Ultimately, combining the former with the advanced tactical and third party protection training Master Lechtenberg received while training in the science of being a body guard and family protection specialist with expert Tom Patire. Master Lechtenberg's tireless efforts have led to one of the most effective and comprehensive curriculums known today. Specifically designed to teach people how to integrate the traditional teachings of martial arts, the sciences of family protection and simultaneously incorporating a comprehensive system for personal development.

Master Lechtenberg has continued his intense lifetime study of martial arts, family protection and personal development with experience in Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do, Aikido, Chi Na, Kum Do, Escrima, CDT and LRT and other. His exceptionally high standards and research have taken him across the country and as far as Korea to gain greater insight on martial arts, culture and history. He is one of only a handful of trainers granted the certification of being a CDT Tactical Master Trainer by Mr. Tom Patire, the nation's foremost expert on personal and family protection.

Throughout his career he has had the privilege of training with some of the most recognize martial artists and protection specialist in the world, something he continues to this day. Some of those leading instructors are: Grand Master Richard Na, "Guardian of Safety" and celebrity bodyguard Tom Patire, Master of Tactics and Martial Arts Grand Master Tom Fischer, World and Olympic Judo Champion, Mike Swain, Senior Knife instructor Don MacKay, Weapons expert and world champion Grand Master Roy Williams and more.

Master Lechtenberg has taken students to Korea to train and compete internationally. He has turned down many offers to go to work for business and Martial Arts programs to pursue his dream of teaching his Personal Destiny Program and building the Personal Mastery Martial Arts legacy.

Leading by example with vision and passion, his goal is to inspire each student to continue to grow and learn throughout life, break through limitations to discover their unique purpose, gifts and highest potential.
